They stepped through portals and no wards or locks could stop them. They kidnapped individuals and took them to an artificial island for the purpose of observing them. The Heads put their new subjects in rooms in a hotel, turned on their cameras, and settled down to wait. They were engaged in a social experiment, peppering their artificial island with rumors of a way back home, if only people could learn to work together. But the people weren't simply left to their own devices. The Heads create hazards on a weekly basis to keep the population on their toes and to observe the effects of various changes to the environment. They want to see the formation of bonds of friendship and love, of animosity and hatred, and then test those bonds. Is there an escape? Will it be found before it's too late? Resident Evil [01 Aug 2010|03:39pm] THERE'S A CURE   Five hours forward in the wee hours of the morning, a high tech commando team (supposedly the U.B.C.S., umbrella counter measure service) shattered through the windows and took charge of the situation. But what they discovered wasn't just why the Red Queen did what she did...but also that if you let the wrong system shut down...you just might be killed by zombies. Everything from an elevator massacre, to a hand bitten nearly off and even some of the soldiers changing into the very thing they feared...the walking dead. --- Hours passed, days, weeks and even months. Raccoon City was completely overrun with the undead. A select few of the U.B.C.S ...a new team was sent out and expended. Things only got worse from there. Before anyone knew it, the entire world was infected. Now. There stands one city and one city alone. Perkins. In the middle of Oregon, survivors have been using their hearts and souls to build a giant wall around the city, fenced in with massive security and weaponry, no living dead can get in...or so they think.
