All through time, people are living their lives as normally as possible considering their current conditions, whether it be war or peace in their respective times. They are blissfully unaware of what will come of their futures--or what might not come to pass.
The year is 2010 and people are arriving in an unfamiliar Hogsmeade. The town looks familiar enough for some former Hogwarts students to identify, but for others it has changed drastically and for some it's a pale comparison of what it is to be. These people are arriving from all eras, starting with the beginning of Hogwarts. People are likely to meet their future children and possibly even grandchildren. People are likely to find out what they didn't want to know about their futures.
Then there's the obvious question of how they arrived here. Who caused it and what is their purpose?
The Ministry of Magic is working diligently to find out why these people are here and how to send them back to their own times, but can this be accomplished before time itself is changed?

Apartments For RentVACANT. Biróg was raised by members of a motorcycle gang after they saw her drunken mother push her out of the car on I-5. She was raised tough and hard, and she barely finished high school. A mechanic by trade, she also has a persuasive ability she seldom uses - but she’s willing to use to help Cian (who fascinates her), but only if it doesn’t land him in Ethniu’s arms.
VACANT. The head of a long and illustrious family, Odin runs an information empire that includes several newspapers and a major network. The family has had its share of black sheep, however. His brother Loki managed to sire illegitimate twins that fell into his care when the other man predictably skipped town. Odin had no desire to care for the children, and had Týr ship them off to live with different families. Hel was sent to live with whomever would take her, but Odin, a firmly superstitious man, saw a bad omen about Fenrir and insisted he be completely cut off from the family. Baldr, his son, nearly died a few months ago, and he’s since reigned him close to home again.

Premise:
There is an apartment building in California called 'Pax Letale.' Most people ignore its auspicious name, though they would be advised to pay more attention to its meaning.
It is a strange building.
Every man, woman and child in the building is a reincarnated myth, the stories told to humans for hundreds, sometimes thousands of years. Once very real, the myths began to fade as science and reason dispelled the probability of their existence. They have all been reborn in human forms, though their essence remains, waiting to be awakened at the right time, in the right place.
Now is the time - Pax Letale is the place. As their lives connect and weave together, as they follow their petty desires and long-held grudges, they are, all of them, on the brink of disaster. Their Landlord knows their every move, and the building they live in seems to have an agenda of its own. People are tortured, people die, people plot behind each other's backs and sneak around and cheat. They love, they fight, they draw blood. |

This Town, Your Grave is a new OC game based on music and the supernatural. Your character is dying. They don't know it, but they were on the cusp of death before they awoke in River's Crossing. The reason they've been chosen to be there is simple. Their soul is stuck in the middling state between good and evil. Somewhere along the way, a good person did something terrible or a terrible person did something good. River's Crossing acts as a limbo of sorts.
Music plays a large part of This Town, Your Grave and part of the application process is providing a song that inspired the creation of your character. Each character will be based on a different song. This provides a unique and fun aspect to the game.
