[02 Jan 2010|03:42am] C O L L I G O R P G P R E M I S E Deep within the Canopus System lies the planet, Soter, a world strangely similar to Earth that was abandoned long ago by it's original inhabitants. Placed on the black market, the planet was eventually purchased by a eccentric man known only as The Collector. He spent many years restoring the planet's greatest city, Colligo, to it's former glory and many intergalactic entrepreneurs believed he intended to turn Soter's Colligo into one of the greatest vacation destinations the known galaxy had ever seen! They were wrong. Instead, Colligo became The Collector's own personal display case for his personal collection of people. During the time he spent restoring Colligo, he also began selecting worthy specimens to start his collection with and others to be added to it later on. These unfortunate people, after having been grabbed from their respective planets, times, and realities, awaken within the Colligo's grand library filled with books whose spines and pages are blank and devoid of pictures or words, unaware of where they are or how they got there. They are soon ushered out of the building and into the city by guards dressed in medieval armor that step off podiums that break the illusion that they are merely statues. No matter what abilities the new collection possesses, fighting these guards is impossible - as is leaving Colligo or the planet. If one tries, they find themselves back in the library and being pushed out into the city once more by the guards. You, unfortunately, have caught The Collector's eye and have been added to his collection. Where you are is unknown, how you got there is an even bigger mystery, but you're faced with two choices: learn to live in this city or die trying to escape it. The choice is yours. Plus 28 Days - Post DH HP End of World RPG [02 Jan 2010|11:53am] On October 31st, 1999, a group of eco-terrorists released a biological weapon at every major airport in the world. 48 hours later, the true nature of the weapon became clear. The infected became violent, infecting others through bites and scratches. 50 hours after the first contagion was released, governments across the globe initiated states of emergency. Sites were designated as shelters with troops and Aurors sent to protect those sites at all costs. Radio broadcasts gave the locations of the Ministry of Magic and Buckingham Palace as 'safe spots' but they were really processing centers screening out the infected and sending the uninfected via the Floo network to hidden shelters. Those lucky enough to find shelter must now wait it out – the 28 long days for the infected to starve to death or kill each other in their madness. The world isn't ready for what happened next. Time has passed. People married. Wizards Married. New generations of students are coming to Hogwarts. Things seem to be keeping calm and quiet. Except rumors have been circling that someone is trying to restart the Death Eaters. Reform the group that brought so much terror to the wizarding world. In response to those rumors, the Order of hte Phoenix has begun to pull itself back together. Parents find their children going to classes with children of the children of old Death Eater families. Is the next generation like their parents? Or will the oldest families learn to change with the times? Will they band together to face a possible resurgence of dark times or will they fall apart at the seams? Time will only tell - but some events seem to be pointing towards a repeat in history. After a nuclear holocaust meant to cleanse the land of the infection upon it, a Quarantine remains enforced by international powers. Trapped in their own burnt land, with none to aid them, what remains of the once majestic United States has been reduced to ash and blood. But even after the blast clears, and those brave few survivors emerge from their shelters, a horrific realization awaits: despite the bombs, despite the waste that has eaten the landscape, the infection has survived. Virulent and strong, it spreads viciously through the land again. Now, those left behind must run for their lives from these grasping creatures. Two years after the creation of Compound One, the refugees find themselves in the midst of civil war. Threat of death from their fellow man now equals the infection.
