The Premise
Neville Longbottom heads Hogwarts.
Astoria Malfoy has just taken over the Board of Governors.
Too many somethings are going bump in the night.
Werewolf attacks have become the stuff of everyday life for much of Wizarding Britain, the Chamber of Secrets is being re-awoken by Slytherin himself, and a certain Dark Lord just doesn't know how to stay dead... Harry Potter, the Head of the Aurors, has his Department fighting back with around the clock patrols and Hit Wizards are busier than ever before, but even with extra security, is Hogwarts safe?
How long will the tension build? How much can those who saved the world take? How far can the wizarding world be pushed before it reaches its breaking point?

Canon Future Gen goes back in time to 1996 to find that the stories they grew up hearing from their parents have all been changed. The Blacks run the Ministry of Magic and Voldemort disappeared in 1980. Nothing is the way it's supposed to be.

» Funny things are happening at Hogwarts. Punches are turning to poison, students are getting attacked in the halls, and the Daily Prophet keeps talking about murders. Some students know it can only be You-Know-Who, while others are blissfully ignorant. Headmaster Dumbledore fears the students are being attacked by outside forces, and so he has locked the school. No one gets in, or out. Mail is checked, double checked, and passed along. Four Aurors have come to join the ranks, and students feel safe. What few suspect and none know, is that the attacks are not only coming from outside, they are also coming from within.

On October 31st, 1999, a group of eco-terrorists released a biological weapon at every major airport in the world. The first level of infection was direct inhalation within 100 yards. The infected become sick with flu-like symptoms. 48 hours later, the true nature of the weapon became clear. The infected became violent, infecting others through bites and scratches. 50 hours after the first contagion was released, governments across the globe initiated states of emergency. Sites were designated as shelters with troops and Aurors sent to protect those sites at all costs.
Radio broadcasts gave the locations of the Ministry of Magic and Buckingham Palace as 'safe spots' but they were really processing centers screening out the infected and sending the uninfected via the Floo network to hidden shelters. Those lucky enough to find shelter must now wait it out – the 28 long days for the infected to starve to death or kill each other in their madness. Then they will have the unenviable task of rebuilding society and the world.

One of the last bastions of humanity is the Mars colony built atop the very ruins that those relics were found within. Humans struggle against the teeming, unliving masses, the might of The Never Living and each other. Aries-II is a place where the heroes have fallen and only time will answer the question, 'will humanity survive?'. Will you be the last hope of humanity, or will you be another conduit of dark energy flowing from the Unliving Gods? |

An AU X-Men RPG
The nation was stunned when it was revealed that Graydon Creed killed Professor Charles Xavier on live television to prove he was a mutant. Public outcry against the acts perpetrated by the organization known as the 'Friends of Humanity' allowed several laws to be passed in favor of mutant rights. That was more than a decade ago, in that time the realm of politics has come to an impasse. Amidst the political stalemate there was a heavy push by many parents to have mutant children removed from the school systems. The Xavier Institute could no longer provide the necessary facilities for so many mutants, adult and child alike. Ororo Munroe, the new head of the Institute, and Hank McCoy went before the Senate and House and asked that a second school be funded on the West Coast. Senator Raymond F. Donaldson, a democrat from California and the first mutant on the senate, helped to push the funding through. Thus the Xavier Memorial Institute was born.
XMI is an AU X-men game set in modern day California. It is meant to be a place where OCs may flourish, new stories can be written and those who have moved to the west coast may begin again. The school grounds, commonly referred to as Mutant Island, house both a high school and a university as well as a training facility. It is also the facility which houses the mutant team Legacy. The game is open to mutants age 16+, canon and original characters are both welcome. The game hopes to combine the social and political aspects of life as a mutant with the dangers that come from living in a world where humans, mutants, and things only classified as 'other' coexist.
Game Opened August 21st.

Halloween at Durmstrang means two things: The annual Dark Path party, and the yearly Halloween ball. It's a time-honored tradition that student look forward to yearly, to relieve from the stress of the school year. Everyone needs a little break from time to time, and what better way than by celebrating? This year though, something else is in the mix. The White Hand's making an appearance, and no one knows just what they're up to. Students are getting a bit wary - they've always been safe inside the school walls. Durmstrang's impenetrable to outsiders, isn't it? If there's one thing to learn, it's that things aren't always what they seem. |

Over a year ago, a little community called JBLS opened to the public with fresh faces, open characters, and a premise and setting revolving around the newest boy-band-hot-ticket-super-group to capture the hearts of millions: the Jonas Brothers. Back then, the boys had a lot going for them - not that they don't, now, of course - including a new album, a national tour an upcoming TV show, and on top of that their personal lives that they had to keep in check.
However, over the course of this year, JBLS has vastly expanded and branched out. New players brought new characters, new focuses, new friendships, and new drama. What was once just a game about the Jonas Brothers has stretched to incorporate the whole of the Disney Channel spectrum (TV, Movies, and Music) and all in between.
JBLS is just as it aways was - same name, but with a different attitude. The plot follows the lives of all those in young Hollywood that pledge allegiance to the Mouse (or have in the past). Who's dating who, which girls are friends or frenemies, who gets backstabbed and who gets the boy. The Disney Channel is a lot darker than you'd think. Want more? “ . . . All that was left in Pandora’s box was hope.” During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora virus,” or PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population. It killed almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine.
There were other creatures who inhabited this planet along with human beings, though. They had just been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals, they were called. Legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. They were also biologically immune to the Pandora virus. With the foresight of the oracle Euryale, groups of praeternaturals learned of what was to come and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They had built safe havens protected by magic in hidden areas across the world. Taking in as many humans and praeternaturals alike as they could before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species.
One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves, abandoned by them long ago, and renovated into a sanctuary. They call it Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world. |
