Then the attempted assassinations of both Prince Draco and King Lucius. Now Frank Longbottom, the Duke of Lennox, has died under "accidental" circumstances. With tensions running high in the country over muggleborn rights, wizarding involvement in a muggle war and rumors of power grabs for the crown there is one thing certain: Someone or something is out to get them all. Since June 1, the Gilded Court has been an active community of diverse characters exploring an alternate universe where the Malfoy family rules both wizarding and muggle Great Britain. With elements of real world politics, paparazzi, and current events melded with canon spells, biases and dark forces and sprinkled liberally with historical research, Gilded Court is a game unlike any other. We are seeking active, mature players to help us build what happens next. [01 Oct 2009|04:05pm] Cursed Prophecy                                       MOD ↔ RPG ↔ OWLS ↔ OCC The Forbidden Forest seems more sinister, the grounds seem twisted at times, and often it's hard to tell if you've woken up from the nightmare of last year at all. Did Headmistress McGonagall really have her throat ripped out? Did Professor Longbottom really pass away after a month of being in a coma? Did you really lose all those friends to different 'terrorist' acts? No, this has to be happening to your parents, not you. This has to have all just been a nightmare... Right? Wrong.
