Global Warming had finally began to rear its ugly head. As the years passed and the storms grew worse, destroying entire cities and killing thousands, the Governments of the world were forced into action. They designed a chemical, a gas that they launched into the atmosphere that somehow cleared it enough to not only bring the temperatures down but to also calm the storms. The world rejoiced but what they did not know was that the gas had a devastating effect on humanity. By 2028 it was discovered that the effect of the gas was widespread infertility and sterilization. Now, in the year 2048 there has been an amazing breakthrough. Through the combined efforts of some of the most brilliant minds from all across the globe, a serum was invented, a cure. The 'Fruitful' serum. The first child in nearly two decades has been brought into the world, bringing with him a new hope for the future. In an effort to begin rebuilding the population, a new law has been put into place, a marriage law called the 'Fruitful Project'. Who will be your match? Full plot. What began as a silly little prank among friends has ended up as a school wide fad. A few ambitious Gryffindors decided that since they were unable to find dates to the Halloween Ball, they would create a journal were they could post 'single ads'. This journal was accessible by any female or male in seventh year and served as an anonymous way for girls and boys to 'hook-up'. A Slytherin who wished to remain anonymous has taken the idea on step further. He set up a service where for two galleons anyone could send in their ad and have it open for response from anyone from the four houses. He assigned each person a codename that they could use when responding and required that the users only contact each other anonymously in the ad journal until the springtime when he is planning a revealing ball when everyone who spoke in the ads could meet face to face. He calls himself 'Romeo". When Minerva McGonagall, the current headmaster, finds out about the journal ad service, she consults the teachers at Hogwarts. It is concluded that while inappropriate on so many levels, it is fostering a sense of togetherness. It is bringing together students from rival houses. The Durmstrang Institute was created by German scholars for the magical instruction of Eastern European wizards sometime after the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was established. In its inception, Durmstrang accepted all promising students who had magical aptitude. However, the rise of the wizard Grindelwald and increasing tensions between the social classes resulted in the expulsion of any non-pureblooded students. Now, known Muggleborns and halfbloods are no longer accepted, and the school is known for pureblooded wizards, study of Dark Arts, rigid social classes, and tradition. Students that graduate from Durmstrang are the most talented, the strongest, the brightest, and the best. Stakes are high, and not all students will succeed. Some may never make it to graduation.
