Dumont3 - An Original Roleplaying Game [15 Nov 2008|01:42am]
DUMONT, CA. A picturesque city set north of the Los Angeles metropolis. With a growing population of 150,000, Dumont is fast becoming a place of prospects and opportunities, as well as one of internal strife.

Though those outside of its borders claim the city is like any other, the denizens within have an altogether different story, one involving dynamics rarely seen in the rest of the United States. Three groups of varying backgrounds and prestige dictate the social, economic, and political structure of Dumont: Adler by the bay, L'Inconnue de la Seine in the forests, and Riesling Industries in between. An oligarchy government, rumors say, one so powerful even the police have lost their hold, the mayor seat eventually existing for puppets and yeasayers.

In 2020, however, the dynamic is quickly shifting toward an imbalance, with two visibly at odds while the third has plans of their own. The police even have a new chief, who seems unusually dedicated to upsetting the status quo. Opportunity and opposition exist on all sides; it would take nothing short of a miracle to stop the inevitable paradigm shift.

Who, then, will seize this chance to overtake the city? Who will fall behind in their race to the top?

Walt Disney University is a Disney-themed college-aged game, looking for new members and new characters! We've recently swept some inactive players/characters, so we're looking for plenty of new characters! Professors, graduate students, and undergraduates are all available for play, just as long as they are based on Disney characters (animated animals will obviously be played in human form).

We are looking for some of the following characters (though any animated character that's not currently on the taken list is available for play!):
Snow White, Prince Charming, Simba, Scar, Ariel, Prince Eric, Scuttle, Sebastian, Flounder, Ursula, Gaston, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Cinderella's Prince, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jess, Hercules, Winnie the Pooh, Jafar, Abu, the Dalmatians, Cruella DeVille, the Parr family, the Cars, Wall-E, and many more!

Many spots have just opened up and we'd love to see you in our game!

What began as a silly little prank among friends has ended up as a school wide fad.

A few ambitious Gryffindors decided that since they were unable to find dates to the Halloween Ball, they would create a journal were they could post 'single ads'. This journal was accessible by any female or male in seventh year and served as an anonymous way for girls and boys to 'hook-up'.

A Slytherin who wished to remain anonymous has taken the idea on step further. He set up a service where for two galleons anyone could send in their ad and have it open for response from anyone from the four houses. He assigned each person a codename that they could use when responding and required that the users only contact each other anonymously in the ad journal until the springtime when he is planning a revealing ball when everyone who spoke in the ads could meet face to face. He calls himself 'Romeo".

When Minerva McGonagall, the current headmaster, finds out about the journal ad service, she consults the teachers at Hogwarts. It is concluded that while inappropriate on so many levels, it is fostering a sense of togetherness. It is bringing together students from rival houses.

We are a 7th year game that is focusing on relationships and dating.

GAME IS NC-17.
