WIZARDING SINGLES RPG

**Premise ** Rules ** Available Characters ** Taken/PBs ** Application**

** Journal ** OOC Journal ** AD Journal

What began as a silly little prank among friends has ended up as a school wide fad.

A few ambitious Gryffindors decided that since they were unable to find dates to the Halloween Ball, they would create a journal were they could post 'single ads'. This journal was accessible by any female or male in seventh year and served as an anonymous way for girls and boys to 'hook-up'.

A Slytherin who wished to remain anonymous has taken the idea on step further. He set up a service where for two galleons anyone could send in their ad and have it open for response from anyone from the four houses. He assigned each person a codename that they could use when responding and required that the users only contact each other anonymously in the ad journal until the springtime when he is planning a revealing ball when everyone who spoke in the ads could meet face to face. He calls himself 'Romeo".

When Minerva McGonagall, the current headmaster, finds out about the journal ad service, she consults the teachers at Hogwarts. It is concluded that while inappropriate on so many levels, it is fostering a sense of togetherness. It is bringing together students from rival houses.

We are a 7th year game that is focusing on relationships and dating.

GAME IS NC-17.

[info]webhost I just applied there with this guy and would love to get more people to fill out his storylines. I would especially love to see Katie Cassidy, Lauren Cohen, Alona Tal, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Misha Collins there. Hell, would love to see more people there.

When Voldemort fell it was time for the Wizarding World to grow up. There was a world to rebuild and society to help reestablish itself. It wasn't easy and it's far from over, but the Wizarding World is once again reaching the strong, powerful world it used to be.

A form of nationalism has gripped the Wizarding World. No longer do the Wizards of Today want to settle their homes on the outskirts of towns, or in the Middle of Nowhere. The city is calling and they want to be in the midst of that excitement. In a spike of almost patriotism, the younger generations have been moving into areas like Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Mere magical-tolerant muggle populations weren't enough anymore, people wanted the atmosphere of London with the magical roots of Godric's Hollow.

In 2000 the first apartment building opened in Diagon Alley, just the first of several that would open over time. Since then this area, that has come to be known as the Wizard's Quarter, has spawned an ever growing number of buildings to appease the many residents. Townhomes and apartment buildings have sprung up in addition to clubs, bars, restaurants and more wizarding owned businesses than ever before. Wizards of all types and nationalities are being drawn to the this hip area of Britain, bringing with them a diversity that cannot be rivalled by any other community of magical folks.

Not everyone is happy about this turn of events, people complain frequently about how this urban growth has ruined quaint locales like Hogsmeade. The glaring modern visage of the newer shops ruins the thatched tiny village that used to stand in it's place. Diagon Alley shop owners aren't about to complain because they now have new steady clients, but there are many that don't like the grand expansion and international hub their majestic street has turned into. Mouth-watering profits keep the complaints in check there, at least.

Currently the Ministry is attempting to draw up new ordinances to help mandate the expansion and residents of this new semi-city. Some think it's about time someone put their foot down, others (mostly residents) think the Ministry still has a lot on it's plate and doesn't need to worry about flats and tea shoppes. No matter what you think of the place, it's impossible to deny the Wizards' Quarter in Diagon Alley is the hippest, coolest, most exciting place to be right now if you are a Wizard in Europe. What kind of wizard are you?

Move in date is December 1st!
