[07 Jun 2008|02:33am] Rules//Application//Taken/Avialable Characters//Played-By The treaty between the Cullen's and the La Push Indian tribe has existed for as long as either side can remember. Put in place to try and control each side and keep peace in the town that lie in between, Forks Washington...until now. A girl, a simple girl, but a smart one danced along the boundary line, bite wounds covering her body. On one side Emmett and Jasper stood waiting for her to come closer. She was suspected of being a rouge, a parting gift from Victoria left waiting in the wings should something go wrong. One the other side Sam, Embyrl and Quil stood waiting for her to come closer. They suspected she was an experiment of the leeches. A test to see what would happen when they changed Bella. They had all heard the rumor floating around in Jacobs head and it sickened them that she would do something like that. Both sides stood quiet and still as they watched the girl dance between them, each side growing restless in the wait. And then the unthinkable happened. She moved closer to the wolves, just within reach before dancing back towards the Cullen's. Quil and Jasper lunged at the same time...and missed. Colliding with each other instead. It was over as quickly as it had happened. No one's sure who drew blood first but both stood panting on their sides of their boundary line, blood shining brightly on both of them. In an instant it was over. The treaty broken by the spilling of blood. And so it begins. The war between Vampires and Werewolves. Neither side willing to give up or give in. And at the center of it all stands one girl with the power to stop it all...or so they think. post comment

Meanwhile, Daenerys 'Stormborn' Targaryen from across the Narrow Sea dissolved the unrest in Slaver's Bay and prepared to make true her long awaited ambitions to sail into Westeros. It was not long before the news spilled into Westeros, whether by ravens or by spies and messengers. The mysteries surrounding the identity of Robb's heir notwithstanding, fealties were sworn and allegiances shifted as the West scurried to side with either the House Baratheon or the House Targaryen in anticipation of the Great War That Never Happened. Indeed, the Stags and the Dragons had been a blade's length away from the first blood spilt when the Wall gave. In spite of the fierce efforts by the Night's Watch, under the joint command of Lord Commander Jon Snow and Lord Stannis Baratheon, to keep the Others--and wights--at bay, it was simply not enough. Even as Wildlings lent reinforcements for the Watch, those who had been quick to dismiss the threats from the north soon learned that the Starks' warnings of old had not merely been fanciful tales as originally believed. A temporary truce was declared by all sides of the impending battle for the throne, and the Others were once more driven back by the combined forces of men and dragons. The war that was placed on hold was reignited with barely a moment to breathe, the first strike hitting hard and fast for those still reeling from the War of the Frozen North. Hexennacht is an alternate universe MWPP game set in 1985; a world where Gellert Grindelwald is now the Minister of Magic for all of Europe, and Muggleborn wizards live in fear of the Black Caps, Grindelwald's personal army, charged with keeping the Muggles and wizards alike in line. Hexennacht begins with the latest decree restricting magic allowed by Muggleborn wizards to the simplest forms of magic, while the purebloods are allowed to get away with murder. With the Death Eaters on the run, Voldemort in Azkaban with no hope of getting out, and the Order in hiding, along with the remains of their single ally, a former terrorist organization, is there any hope of restoring Europe to a land of tolerance? For centuries, shape shifters, vampires, and witches have remained largely undected. There were always legends, stories that were unavoidable when supernaturals spent their lives rubbing shoulders with humans. These tales were, and still are, mostly considered to be fantastical amusement, the stuff of low budget horror films. Despite the fact that these legends spanned the generations, few humans truly believed that such creatures existed. On both sides of the line, this was for the better. No Such Place: An Original Fantasy RPG [07 Jun 2008|09:30pm]                     “ . . . All that was left in Pandora's box was hope.” During the 21st century, a global pandemic consumed the world. Due to its devastating nature, they dubbed it the “Pandora Virus.” No one had time to truly study it or to counter the rapid spreading of PV. The virus tore through the world’s population, killing almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and most of the earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora Virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine. There were others, though. Others who inhabited this planet along with human beings, but they had been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals, they were — legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. All of them were also biologically immune to the Pandora Virus. With the foresight of the oracle named Euryale, praeternaturals learned of what was to come shortly before it began and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They built safe havens in hidden areas across the world that were protected heavily by magic. Taking in humans and praeternaturals alike before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species. One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves. It has been renovated into a sanctuary and renamed to Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world. It has been 24 years since the fall of Voldemort on that fateful June night at Hogwarts, and although it took awhile to rebuild the Wizarding world to what it once was, the world has been stronger than ever. With the help of so many people that now were on the side of good, the Ministry was able to get up and working once again, under the watchful eye of their wonderful new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt. And the little Wizarding school was able to go back to what it was put there for; teaching young Wizards and Witches how to be just that. They took in students from far and wide, different and alike, from Wizarding blood or Muggle blood. And the school grew and rebuilt itself to be the greatest school in History. The Landing is a spot on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and spot built in the safe woods just on the edge of the Black Lake, far from Hagrid's Hut and the Black woods of the Forbidden Forrest, hidden from the sight of the feared Caretaker and the Headmaster and his Professors. It was built by mischief makers that had attended the school after the War, put there for the sole purpose of being a secret meeting spot for friends, groups, or couples, for any use from parties to plotting to just enjoying the evening sky. It hasn't been discovered yet, but the students are still careful. The only way to get to it is Invisibility cloak--which is rare--or the hidden passageway on the fourth floor back corridor, behind the statue of a dancing House Elf.
