Blood Brothers Midnight Order [25 May 2008|09:56am] The date is 1671. 17th Century. Europe. Disguise and living in the shadows is not a choice for some people: it is a way of living. What, you may ask, is in store for the inhabitants of Midnight Manor? The past and present. Orphans. Runaways. Street kids. Vagrants. They all share the same thing in common: their distaste for human life. They themselves may have suffered an unhappy childhood, or an unfortunate event in their own life. Their future looked bleak. Few friends or none at all, a family that wished they never existed. What's in store for these wayfarers? One man made a decision to create a haven for these homeless vagabonds where there would be no further prosecution, hardships, and poverty. Midnight Manor An isolated home and headquarters for a very special breed of people. Vampires. Where will you stand? On the edge of everyday misery in the streets; or will you join the Blood Brothers Midnight Order? 001.] The age requirement for this RPG is seventeen [17] years of age and above. Adult scenes will occur, so no exceptions. 002.] All characters are ORIGINAL. This is a non-fandom vampire game. We refer to the traditional Victorian romance archetype for vampires. 003.] The character limit per role-player is two [2] to prevent inactivity among members and people taking on more than they can handle, RP load or muse-wise. The activity limit is once a week at the very minimum. 004.] No godmoding, twinking, OOC drama, clique-ing, harassing others or playing unfairly. Please ask the mods for assistance if someone is acting unfairly or causing drama. You will get three [3] warnings before we will take appropriate action. 005.] You are required to have proper spelling and grammar. Double check your posts! Use a spellchecker! Ever at the Ready [25 May 2008|03:46pm] - Mod Journal - RP Comm - OOC Comm - Graphics - - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! [25 May 2008|05:58pm] Two Men bet on the lives of Several MetaHumans to see which on will be right... What is left over is A bunch of people who don't remember who they are only what. They are given assignments, ID cards, and forced to be part of a bet they know nothing about between an Angel named Tyrial Dranias and an Immortal Onmyoji named Hiro Takeshi. Sound interesting? ... That is it ladies, gentlemen and other beings. You have been pulled in as a pawn of the two above Characters. You have no memory of your life before falling on the Island. It has been a year since you have been here(or maybe you're a new arrival it's up to you!) and you know only of your powers and life you've made for yourself since then. The Island has only 10 hours of daylight and 20 hours of night(yes 30 hours). If you try to escape into the expanding ocean you magically reappear back on it. However, it has all you could need. Food(Whether sushi or blood) and one major city in the center with all types of wilderness surrounding it. The City is called Fortuna(Latin for Destiny) and many creatures walk it's streets(Angels, Demons, Werewolves, Vampires and many more!). Tyrial Dranias is the Emperor and a firm but kind man. Hiro Takeshi is his main adviser and together, along with a military force, keep law and order on the Island. No matter who you are you can make your own way! Maybe you'll be a nightclub owner, wilderness person, hero, or start the mafia! The choice in yours in this very freedom friendly Original Character(OC) Game!
