I have a tag dilemma. I've set up my IC community to have nested tags to try and keep everything neat and clean. In this game there are both Canon and AU characters, so I've arranged them that way, but the "canon" and "au" part of the tag doesn't always nest correctly.

take a look. (The Marvel MCU tags are showing up correctly for example, while the Harry Potter tags are not)

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? It's driving me nuts.

That's absolutely baffling since it seems like it's just the HP ones that aren't working properly and all of the rest are showing up (unless the nest is supposed to be there even if there aren't both canon and AUs available).

Is it an automated script, or are you adding all of the tag items by hand?

Yeah, it's completely baffling. I have no idea what's going on here. I've been adding them all by hand, but they're all correct as far as I can tell.
