This because I've somehow managed to hack the insanejournal.com system and attach malware to a secure site in the background of ... wait a minute...

You're an alien. Maybe your settings are just set to 'high paranoia' mode. :P

"The website at asylums.insanejournal.com contains elements from the site img2.tinypic.info, which appears to host malware"

It's freaking out over the tinypic links in the posts, looks like.

Are you the same person as "lukeisanalien" from up there? This is the first I've heard about malware. I can access the site just fine with no warning. There's no way I can help you unfortunately. There's nothing I can see on the page that is actually from tinypic, as the older posts in the asylum itself are from literally years ago before tinypic was all the rage. Even the newest post is an image from tumblr. This is clearly an isolated warning. If you aren't comfortable accessing the site because of a picture that can destroy the world, well... I forgot what I was talking about. I'm drunk.

Nah, different person, and it's probably something to do with Chrome more than the webpage itself since everyone who I've talked to today who's had the problem has been using Chrome. I just click ignore anyway. It's worth the risk.

I checked a few entries and there was one hosted by tinypic, but it didn't make my computer get all Y2K on me. Deleted it just in case that might be the problem tho. Does it still do it?

Is that a Tom Robbins, Still life with woodpecker reference in your username?

Someone else was telling me the same thing. But it's definitely not malware. I sometimes have the same issues with tinpic pictures on other computers, however. I wouldn't worry about it. It'll probably go away as the ads continue to come in.

NVM. Didn't read far enough in your discussion up there.
