It makes sense. I wouldn't wish my husband back, and I wouldn't wish my mom or my dad. They're real, and I want them real. And I wouldn't want to fuck up my memories. I was poor as mice when I showed up in Vegas, and had bills out of my ears, but I had what I had.

Maybe that's it. I don't care about being poor, but my kid would. So something for her. Money locked away, so she can go to school or do something dumb like me and get married way too young, or buy a house someday down the line.

	God. This, this is why I need my sister. I don't think through anything practical well. Amount. I don't know. Enough for college, and enough for a down payment on a house and a little extra.
