Mutants
[Locked to mutants, both born and made through the pulse]

I have been waiting and watching, and I believe it is time to speak.

My name is Erik Lehnsherr, and I am a mutant. I have the ability to manipulate and control metal. I understand there were some people hit by a "pulse" that caused them to develop new abilities. Someone caused it, and knowing humans, they will be looking for you. Perhaps they've already found you, or tried to experiment on you. I've seen this before, and they will not stop.

Brothers and sisters, we don't need a cure, and there isn't one, nor should they be. We are capable of many great things, things that ordinary people cannot fathom. And they will hate and fear you for it.

I had a team before. We found and protected mutants, and prepared for the coming war, because there is one. It is only a matter of time. Join me if you wish to be a part of real action, not hiding and hoping for the best.

You offer untrustworthy information. Everything you say is a lie until proven otherwise, because you've already showed a personal interest and knowledge in what has happened. There will be a reckoning for whoever you are protecting, and they will deserve it. Accident or not, people's lives are forever changed and they should have an apology and an explanation.

You don't lose responsibility for terrible decisions because you didn't mean to do it, or your original intentions were good. Lives were ruined, people could be dead, this is not a game. The only one here who is proving to be a danger is you, for your deceit and callousness.

	I could say the same thing about everything you say. Hypocrisy isn't a good trait in a leader. You've already shown a personal interest and knowledge in what has happened. Etc. You might not be responsible, but you're a part of this. You have information you're hiding. Covering up for it makes you culpable. You're choosing to be insulting and glib instead of showing any kind of compassion for the people who were involved. They deserve answers, so go and tell whoever you want that sooner or later, these questions being asked will get closer to the truth. And on that day there will be no more hiding.

	I'm not hiding anything. I know the same thing everyone else does, and if you'd done even the slightest bit of research on events that clearly happened before your arrival, you would have access to that information as well.
