Honey, I'm selfish and vain and I like attention. It's simple as that. He makes sure I get the hottest water and the nicest soap and the least amount of canned corn. I never did say I liked living hard, and he and Shane control this place full of Alexander's that don't like me a whole lot.

Plus, Lorelei loved him, and she would want someone making sure he ate something sometimes. And Lorelei's the only thing in my life I loved better than myself. And that's the god's honest truth.

	Been working. I've got the established place here, connections, everything I needed, but I also needed to learn the laws here.
