[Her gaze slid to the side as members of the League as they filed out, her gaze soon coming back to him at his words. Talia gave him a small nod, and then his fist was swinging towards her face and she wasn't braced for the impact. She stumbled to the side, and only years of training kept her from bringing her hand up to touch her cheekbone, already swelling with the impact. Gaze lowered, and a touch of fear came to her face, manufactured and delivered up to him as she looked back up towards him from beneath her lashes.] Yes, father. I understand. [A pause, a beat, and then her hand came up to probe her cheekbone.] Father.

It was already beginning to swell and by tonight it would be bruised, but that could be masked by paint.] You're going to want to hide the mark of your shame. [Said lowly, a hint to her as his other hand reached for her to help her stand straight again. A kiss went to her opposite cheek, a brush of lips against skin, barely there at all.] Make me proud.

[She gave his hand a tight squeeze before releasing his fingers, her purse adjusted upon her shoulder as she stepped back and turned away from him.]

[And then Talia was leaving, heel clicks on the hard floor as she entered the elevator once more to carry her down, her gaze hard as she thought of her upcoming meal with the man known as Bruce Wayne.]
