You wake up to the sound of a cow nearby. The room is spinning very gently around your head. Or at least it would be if you could see it. Which you can't.

It is pitch black.

[The cursor blinks expectantly, awaiting instructions.]

You are not being specific.

Dorm room, in the bed
The dorm room is a mess.
It is a small dorm room with faded carpet and old wallpaper. There is a desk, a closet with the door hanging off the hinges, and a window with the curtains drawn. Near the exit leading south is a phone.
There is a computer here. (outside the bed)
There is a toothbrush here. (outside the bed)

Don't get an attitude. Maybe your punctuation was questionable. And even if the dorm room is (mostly) in the bed, it doesn't explain how I almost die reaching for the curtains, assuming the window is in the bed, too. My question remains unchanged.

[Processing.]

You are in the bed. The room is not. Given the average reach of a normal sized human being, you are unable to get what you want from here. In spite of your best efforts, you are not a Jedi.

But I touched the walls and found the light switch. The light switch is on the wall by the bed? And who said I was a normal sized human being? That's totally presumptive.

Do you want to play by the rules, Gwen S? You cannot reach the curtains from bed.

I think the rules are kind of arbitrary.

I do not know the word 'think'.

Remove words I + think. The rules are kind of arbitrary.

[Processing. Processing.]

That sentence is not one I recognize. Game rules are defined.

Arbitrarily defined.

Use prepositions to indicate precisely what you want to do: DEFINE AT the object, DEFINE INSIDE it, DEFINE UNDER it, etc.

I kind of just wanted to tell you how your rules were arbitrarily defined.

[The cursor glitches purple a couple of times.] How would you 'kind of' define rules, Gwen S?

Kind of was in relation to my desire to inform you of my opinion, not in relation to the arbitrary rules themselves.
