Water is scarce in the wastelands, the land around us a virtual desert, clean water is an even more precious commodity. They say there's a processing plant in the D.C. Ruins that can change that. D.C. is a long way away though and there's no guarantee they'd want more settlers moving in. You have a choice, you can try to book it across the wastelands and hope what you find isn't death, or you can stay here, make the best of what we've got and hope that the caravans are bringing us truth when it comes to making the technology our own. We'll see. Aftermath is an RPG set in the ruins of what was once Atlanta, Georgia. Based on the Fallout 3 universe, Aftermath follows the lives of the characters within the realm. Vault Dwellers who have come into the wastelands through various means, Wastelanders the children of former dwellers and other survivors, and Ghouls are all playable characters within the realm. 3:32p	AU HP Post-War Game The death of Albus Dumbledore brought many changes to the wizarding world. For the first time ever the Ministry of Magic was forced to recognize that Lord Voldemort had indeed returned. After years of denial, they were not prepared for the reality that was to be war. And war it was. Within two years, the whole of wizarding society became unrecognizable. In the end, Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter, but the victory was not without severe consequences. With the smoke clearing and wizarding England in ruins, the first survivors began to slowly show their faces and began to return to their lives. But after years of knowing or ignoring the darkness, it might not be as easy as they'd like to return to the light. 5:24p	The year is 1978. The war against the Death Eaters has been boiling under the surface for almost a decade now. It was little things at first, easy to ignore, escalating to bigger attacks, bigger crimes, and of course, retaliation. Now the country is about ready to tear itself apart as the Ministry steps up their attempts to defeat Voldemort and no one is really sure who they should trust, if they should trust anyone at all. Who can you turn to when your own government is as likely to kill you as the masked criminals roaming the streets? Even the muggles are starting to notice. Attacks in muggle places are becoming more frequent, the Death Eaters getting more bold. And everyone is asking the same question. How long before it's open war? The First War is a Post-Warts, MWPP era RPG. We are canon through November 1st, 1978 and then we diverge, allowing the characters to tell their own stories. 8:48p	hey, i'm playing Vulcan in a shiny new awesome game set in 2012. the premise is that the great change of dec. 21, 2012 creates mutants, and they're all running around untrained and trying to come to terms with their newly emerged powers and a world that fears and hates them. it's a great AU setting with a healthy cast of dynamic players. i'm looking to play out the family strife between the Summers brothers, Alex (Havok) and Scott (Cyclops). see Vulcan's bio here i'm also particularly looking for a really fragged-up, totally dysfunctional, possibly short-lived (or not) relationship with some skanky/traitorous/emasculating b&tch-on-wheels who would eventually laugh at him and drive him to the point where Vulcan beats her up. the game info is HERE.
