For as long as anyone can remember, the City has always been one of the largest metropolitan centers in the world. It has had its share of glory and decline, but none so great as the age following the founding of OzCorp. Michael Ozma was no man of magic, but he might as well have been, for the technological wonders he wrought.
Today, however, the Gilded Age is long past. OzCorp, now led by Ozma's three daughters, has become corrupt, and the City has fallen from its glory days. Crime and drugs now rule the streets, though some aristocrats continue to live above it all.
Inspired by folk-lore and fairy-tales, Not So Far Away is a unique Role-Playing World that brings characters from fairytale, folklore, and mythology from around the world together into an ever-expanding universe.

Within the lands of the True Game, humans have come to possess any combination of eleven different "talents." Beguiling, flight, firestarting, healing, necromancy, power storing, precognition, shapeshifting, telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation. People can have complete control over only one ability, or moderate levels of up to four. The world is rife with the talented but it's usually rare to find two of the exact same combinations of talents.
Here in the Sapphire Domain, multiple talents abound though few are known to have only begiling as a talent. Not only is this domain know fore its low number of beguilers, but for an amazing amounts of years of victory in battle and peace. In fact, the domain seems just a little too perfect. What could be being hidden within its borders?
The Sapphire Domain has been unscathed by games for the last ten years. Some say Willem is the most intelligent, tactical and all around best ruler the Sapphire Domain has ever had. Others wonder just what powers he holds that have kept him and his contingency from ever losing a battle. Whispers abound: is he hiding something? Is there a greater power than his? But the real question is, how much longer can his winning streak last? |

On January 2nd, 2011, the world ended. Two years later, humanity and mutantkind have both become the actively hunted minorities on a planet now populated by the ravenous undead. Since the outbreak, pockets of life have established themselves in colonies where they can, and Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is now a fortress for those who only want to survive. Nearby New York City is overrun by the infected, but still the survivors raid for supplies. The Morlocks have established their new kingdom above ground, always willing to trade what they've scavenged for a good price, but are still governed by mistrust. Even the military, long-since forced out of power, seems to be stirring again.
In this new era, everyone has lost something, and yet the opportunity to regain it all or lose everything still hovers precariously on the horizon.

devolve is a Marvel AU post-apocalyptic zombie game set around what was formerly known as Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. The game accepts canon characters of all kinds provided they can be fit reasonably into the setting, but is currently not accepting original characters.

Welcome to the Astor Ridge apartment building where luxury, decadence, seclusion and madness can all be found, right at the tips of your fingers. Boasting a history littered with murder, suicides, high divorce rates, affairs, and unexplained disappearances, it is safe to say that there are several dark secrets inside the opulent walls of Astor Ridge. From the building's penthouse apartment, high on the twenty-fifth floor, William Astor rules his kingdom with an unseen hand. Fortune - Good and bad - all change not with the winds, but at Astor's discretion. He's watching you see, and he sees everything. Every move, word, and action are his to dissect, and sooner or later, he will take an interest in you. Pray it's fleeting.
Astor Ridge is an original character game set in the fictional Astor Ridge apartment building on the East Coast of the United States. The game just opened on January 1, 2011 and is slowly coming together. Start with a fresh slate! We are looking for any and all original characters you might be able to think up!

Breakaway Academy for the Performing Arts (fondly referred to as simply 'Breakaway') is exactly what it sounds like. It's a school for people who have special gifts and want to work at pursuing them. A school that houses and teaches thousands of students every semester, with an impressive rate of success after graduation.
Breakaway is not a dance company, a drama school, or a music institute. It is all three, and much more, located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Must Perform is a PB community made up of mature writers and awesome folks. The mods are fair, the premise is fresh, and the players are enthusiastic. Come and join in the fun! |

Hogwarts, meet the Ministry.
With the latest orders from the Ministry, the structure of the Prefect system at Hogwarts was the first change: Prefects have been paired by year and house, forming a team which cannot assign detentions or take house points without consulting one another. It was from this new policy that the Inquisitorial Squad was reborn: a student-run club designed to train interested students in Ministry issues and conflict resolution. At Hogwarts, things are orderly, organized, and above all, fair - or are they?
Prefects are finding new ways to abuse their powers and control others. Students retaliate in their own ways, bringing personal issues before the Inquisitorial Squad, treating it more like a Hogwarts' version of the Wizengamot than a wizarding Model UN club.
