2 May 1998 - the day that lies in infamy as the day that Voldemort and the Death Eaters won the Battle of Hogwarts. Before Harry Potter could reach the diadem, before the fighting could truly begin, Death Eaters stormed the castle and it was over before it had begun. Finally, with the Boy Who Lived in his hands, Voldemort was free to do as he pleased with the Wizarding World.
Those who were present at the battle, as well as all Muggleborns and those who are loyal to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, were rounded up. Hogsmeade was transformed into a concentration camp, and all of those who had been captured were imprisoned.
Witches and wizards from all walk of life now live together, scattered throughout numbered buildings in the town. They have duties they must perform, chores that need attending, and what little freedom they do have is carefully watched by the Death Eaters who rule the town. If anyone is caught breaking the rules, they are punished - and those who declare loyalty to Voldemort and the Death Eaters are rewarded. Life is no longer a right; it is a privilege.
All the while, the imprisoned Order of the Phoenix will do what it must in order to escape. But with little privacy, alert guards, and no magic at their disposal, all they can do is stay together and do whatever it takes to survive.

It’s 1976 and the Marauders are in their Sixth year. Things have already started to move and heat up with mysterious deaths and disappearances. The order is not fully established yet but it’s getting there and the Death Eaters are growing rather strong. It’s time to fight, time to take sides and time to find out who your real friends are.
What we are: A lot of fun. The mods look at what your character will bring to the game and what you will bring to the game.
What we are not: STICTLY CANON. We’re semi-AU. We like to see characters in all lights. What if Lily had a fling with Serverus? What if James fell in love with someone else? Show us your characters and if we like them your in.
We are also not by any means a fly by night game. We are looking for serious players that are willing to stick it out with us and have a lot of fun.

A city lies behind a great wall, seemingly empty but this isn’t any ordinary city. It is Ash Valley, a city owned by the Umbrella Corporation and used for experimentation. It resembles Raccoon city in structure but unlike Raccoon city, Ash Valley is unpopulated…at the moment. This soon changes as the Umbrella Corporation begins their most complex experiment. With their most advanced technology and highly trained agents, the corporation begins rounding up people to begin their experimentations. Some of these people are your average every day Joes, some of them are supernatural creatures, some of them aren’t even from this time or this world. They are all gathered together and left in Ash Valley. Why? So that the Umbrella Corporation can observe and experiment on them but these test subjects aren’t alone. Bodies infected with the T-virus have also been placed in the city.
Here are the facts:
Stuff you need to know for the game
+The Umbrella Corporation has brought you to a city called Ash Valley using various means. You might not remember the exact who and how but what you do remember is a group of agents dressed in black capturing you and injected a red liquid into your arm, knocking you out. When you wake up you find yourself in the center of the city.
+Ash Valley appears deserted at first but you’ll quickly learn that there are others in the city much like yourself, kidnapped and dropped here without any reason. These people will be from all walks of life and from various times and places in history. Some of them are heroes, some of them are killers, and some of them are just confused.
+There are other creatures within Ash Valley as well. These are Zombies. There are not a huge number of them but there’s enough to cause trouble.
+ Throughout your stay in Ash Valley the Umbrella Corporation will be experimenting on you and generally fucking with you…all in the name of science of course.
+Your goal? To stay alive as long as possible but the city is dangerous and the people around even more so. You cannot trust anything or anyone here so thread lightly.
Just so we’re clear:
This is a horror game that is loosely based on the first and second Resident Evil movies. It does not follow Resident Evil cannon exactly and it doesn’t have any ties to the video games.
This is a multi-fandom game so characters from almost any genre and fandom are allowed. There are a few fandoms that are not allowed in this game and they are:

Regaling is a cursed kingdom. Inside, there are castles towering to the sky, enchanted forests, and a host of magical creatures, but despite all of that, the kingdom is still cursed. Not just the kingdom as a whole; every single inhabitant of Regaling is born with their own curse. Some are meant to be broken, others will remain unbreakable. Regaling is one giant fairy tale. Your character will be the hero of their story, a victim in another, a love interest in the next, and maybe a villain in all the rest.
Regaling is an AU multi-fandom, ani-manga, book/movie, and video game role play with a heavy importance on character development and humor with hi-jinks!!1! versus a complicated plot. The game is set up in a loose way in the hopes that characters will be able to make the game develop without having very much set in stone. It is designed in the form of a kingdom of fairy tales, with each character assuming a role in their own story and inevitably affecting the other stories around them. The Kingdom of Regaling itself is under a curse that includes curse days, during which the majority of Regaling's inhabitants will suffer from the same basic curse (though on some curse days, players can choose if they want their characters to participate or not). It could, for example, be a day when everyone switches curses, or maybe forgets about the person they hold the most important to them. However, on the normal days (and I'm using "normal" lightly here~) each character must live with their own curse. As part of Regaling's curse, each person who enters the Kingdom of Regaling, be it by birth or travel, will have a curse placed upon them. The curse is theirs alone and, if they are lucky enough, they will find a way to break it...
× Since we've moved here from Greatest Journal we haven't had many members. But we're looking for more and there are plenty of characters to be taken. :]~ Though each character has to have a PB, which the mod can help with choosing one for you if you'd like. That includes curses if you have trouble deciding on one for your character/s.
