If people are willing to pass over the pelts of the animals they hunt, I know the process of brain tanning.

Yeah, I get it's gross, but we don't exactly have a lot of cold weather friendly clothes in supply here. I'm offering to help if anyone wants it. If anyone else wants to learn, I'll teach some people.

Okay, based on Sirius's entry in the journal and the responses to it so far, something weird is going on. If you're not feeling well, what are your symptoms? Let's see if there's anything I can actually treat before it spreads with no freaking tools or meds, since we're pretty well confined in this building and that's the very last thing we need happening here. Also, if anyone is feeling just fine, I could probably use a hand, so let me know if you'd be willing to help out? Bonus points if you know anything about herbal remedies because I'm still learning that stuff right now and I'm a little shaky on it, still.

I see little cause to introduce myself however, I suppose it is the proper thing to do in such circumstances seeing as this appears to be a communication device of sorts.

My name is Remus Lupin. I was previously in Scotland, taking refuge in a place familiar to me. Now I find myself surrounded entirely by the unfamiliar. Should anyone be able to provide guidance or information, it would be much appreciated.

So in recent history I have managed to stub my foot about half a dozen times, stab myself with a pen, trip myself while walking and drop my phone in the mud. Not that it's much good anyway.

I don't think I was this uncoordinated when I was learning to walk.

Did everyone hear that? Gretel and I were right at the doors when it started. We didn't know there was anyone else out there we couldn't get them to open again. Is everyone alright? Are we all accounted for?

I don't know how long we're going to be here, so I figured there will be a point we can't keep just going about our business without crossing paths.

You're the only other one in this place.

So now that at least half of you don't think I'm crazy, I think that I'm going to try and make myself useful. I've been looking around the place and outside of the gate nearest to the apartments there are a few apple trees, past them there are blueberries. If you find a giant lake that way, you can scale the edge and find a decent amount of fruit; peaches, plums, that sort of thing.

I'm thinking that we should start gathering them and bring them into the gates. There's a giant patch of dirt directly south of the apartments that looks like it would be good for planting things, so I think starting a basic garden would be in all of our favors.

Just in case you haven't noticed, there's at least one (possibly two) supernatural hunters here. The person named Sam said it outright in the journals and Gretel, at some point, mentioned witch-specific hunting. I don't know what either of these people look like or even whether Sam is a man or a woman, but...if anyone else knows, sharing with the class might be nice?

I just thought I should make any of the rest of us aware. If there are any others. Maybe it's just me. And Lydia.

Do the names Cortez, Nast, Boyd or St. Cloud mean anything to anyone around here?

So it looks like, despite what I'm sure all of us were hoping, we're all still stuck here. Is everyone still okay - other than the obvious of being held against your will? I know Natasha asked a few days ago, but is there anyone who still hasn't gotten their electric and plumbing set up? Or anyone who has started having any trouble with their set up?

That makes twenty one of us. So far it looks like we don't really have all that much in common that might tie us together as a group and maybe shed some light into why we are here. We have something in common now though, we're all stuck here. The only way we're going to figure this out and survive here while we do is together. We've all got something that we can use to be useful here. We have power, we have water. There's food in the woods and we have some people who know how to make that work. If you think you can help out in this regard, then let us know. You by no means have to go hunt, but even a handful of people who want to go out and gather fruit would be helpful.

As far as I can tell so far this is our living space the for moment.

If everyone can make a mark with their name in the area they showed up - as best as you can tell or remember, that'd be great. From what I can tell it looks like the doors shut us in here at night. During the day they're open. So far nothing has come through, but we have to assume that whoever - or whatever - took us is out there somewhere. I suggest we set up watches by the four doors during the day.

If you leave the compound, I suggest you leave with at least one other person. Take your journal in case you get into trouble out there. If you leave alone, at the very least let some one know. Jot a quick note in here, tell your neighbor. Be back before the doors close.

There were a handful of you who mentioned in Natasha's entry that you are combat trained to various degrees. I'd like for all of us to meet up tomorrow, around 8 AM in front of the apartment building. Let's figure out what we can all do. Anyone who is not, but interested in learning the basics, let me know and we'll figure out a time to start some training.
