Who: Bishop and Teagan
Where: The Dog Park
What: Unfinished Business
When: June 29, soon after this
The reflection in the mirror is bruised up, her jaw is swollen, her lip is split. She's not a pretty sight and the thoughts that are swirling in her mind aren't any prettier. The breath she's been holding is exhaled as she turns around and when she goes for the joint she'd lit up, Teagan finds that it's burnt itself out. Instead she reached for the bottle of Whiskey. When she pushes it up to her lips, the alcohol burns the wound and she smiles despite herself.
Gun
She doesn't know a Gun but she knows an asshole with a scorpion tattoo. That's validation but it isn't proof and even if Teagan brings all of this to Rodeo and the rest, they won't believe what that sewer skank's told her. She's wondering how she is going to make them believe her, to turn their trusting against someone they view as a brother, someone that is part of the beloved and tightly woven First Seven. That isn't even a club she's in with, no matter how much love and faith she's earned those few months behind the evolution of the Hellhounds have left her standing just outside the very inner circle.
During tonight she'd picked up her phone 5 or 6 times, typed messages to one person and one person alone but they've all been erased, none of her thoughts have been sent to him. She's promised herself that she needs to avoid him but it's a losing battle because she needs him he and as the line on the whiskey bottle recedes, so does her resolve.
It's really late, middle of the night and she knows he's with a girl. She watched him head off from the crowd with his arm draped low around Celia's waist.
After she'd come back from her run in with Miz Deliverance Teagan's made a point of moving away from him, ignoring him. She hadn't been ready to deal with whatever it was behind his eyes when he'd looked at her.
But now, maybe she is. Maybe if she waited it out she wouldn't be so she types two simple words that have so much of everything behind them.
Come over
