Who: Kyle Blackburn (posing as 'John', his Ghoul alias) & Emilie Galloway
Where: Ghoul's Tunnels under Austin
What: Emilie needs a fix and goes to see Kyle
When: August 18th, 2017 (backdated)
The more Kyle learned about the Ghouls... the more he was convinced of their absolute insanity. To say nothing of 'Sister Slaughter', the Ghouls by and large seemed to have been driven to madness over their obsession for Prax, so much so that he was able to peddle the drug as a means to curry favor and position without any of them so much as batting an eyebrow. Of course Kyle had explanations if he was ever put to the question but most of the Ghouls were often just so damned pleased to get a hit that they never bothered to ask him where he found the drug. And while they were the enemy, the rival faction in Austin that would inevitably bring about their own self-destruction Kyle could not help but have a certain measure of pity for them.
Particularly the young ones. The wash users who tried Prax, perhaps to get over or otherwise simply try to cope with the way the world was, and ended up as just another Ghoul. It was depressing, even if it was their own choice, and part of Kyle felt that his role in infiltrating their faction was something of a mercy, for the sooner the Hellhounds put them down the better for all involved. And with the way 'Sister' Slaughter had a hard on for the Dog King it was only a matter of time until blood would be spilled again.
For now Kyle just made his way through the tunnels, having been painstakingly trying to memorize as much of them as he could. He had maps he continuously worked on while back at the Dog Park but while actually in the Ghoul's territory he had to work entirely from memory. It was cold down here so far below the ground and so he wore a flannel shirt with a hood over his head, which also helped him to blend in with the rest of them.
After receiving a message from Emilie, one of his regulars-and consequently one he felt a little responsible for in a certain way-he was on his way to her nest although when he reached it, he simply waited outside, knowing better than to trespass.
"Hope you're in there, short stuff", he called from outside.
