Revenge of the Blob
Who: Dr. Lalita Singh and Graham Frost.
What: Lita patches Graham up after a rough few days.
When: Backdated to 6/8/2018, Following this conversation and this run in.
Where: University Medical Center Brackenridge
When Mr. Frost had missed his appointment on Saturday, Lita hadn't really given it a second thought. People blow off and cancel appointments all the time, especially nowadays. When there are people turning geek at every turn, having an ingrown toenail or a stomach bug suddenly doesn't seem like a hospital-worthy visit. Looking back, perhaps she should have sent an inquiry to the Capital, seeing as he was a V.I.P. and all. He was practically the Wizard of Oz, building the new freenet and bringing Austin out of the Dark Ages. But she hadn't thought of it. In fact, the extra time had been beneficial; she'd been able to catch up on some paperwork and touch up her manicure. All in all, it had worked out well for Dr. Singh.
Not so much for Mr. Frost, it seemed.
On Monday, Lita was in the middle of an appointment with a nasty case of gout (gout,, Lita silently despaired; she was a surgeon, a damn good one, and she was looking at gout) when an orderly popped his head in and told her she was needed elsewhere and that another doctor would finish up with Mr. Stevenson. Trying to keep the delight from showing (and not doing a great job of it), she bid Mr. Goutfoot goodbye and went to the room the orderly had relayed to her. She had been given no more information than that; no patient name, no clipboard, no summary of injuries of conditions. She'd just have to wing it when she got in there.
"Hello there, Mr...?"
