Who: Max Davies and Siobhan Vaisey.
What: Things fall apart.
Where: Max's flat.
When: Sunday 11th December, morning.
Warning: Mildly homophobic inner monologue.
Because Siobhan had been working on Saturday, Max had been forced to entertain himself. It was strange, after so many years of long-distance floo calls and pre-planned visits, just how quickly Max had become used to seeing her almost every day. They still didn't live together, but she could apparate to his after work, and he could wake up with an arm flung over her or hearing her already in the shower. It was nice. Mostly. Max supposed increasing the amount of time they spent together was always going to increase any small tensions they'd had over the years.
He'd spent Sunday morning at the gym, then the afternoon doing some Christmas shopping. As usual, he had no idea what to get for Roger, so he'd roamed Diagon Alley in the hopes that something would jump out at him. It hadn't. He'd picked up some earrings for Siobhan, though, finding her infinitely easier to shop for. When he apparated home, Siobhan was already there, and Max had to quickly shuffle his shopping bags so that the one from Obscurus Books was front and centre. "Hello love," he said, moving closer to press a kiss to her hair. "Have you been waiting for me long?"
