Whomever it may concern,

I feel as if I have been quite remiss in the social aspect of my current situation, though I find that being unfamiliar with this place and time, as well as its many strange forms of communication, works quite nicely in excusing me. It is an unfortunate fact of the matter, however, that I am by no means capable of living out the rest of my life as a hermit and this town, while lovely, is tremendously underpopulated when placed in comparison to the lands from which I hail. This being said, I appear to have acquired a package of tea. Should anyone with access to the requisite china possess some interest in partaking of a cup of what appears to be a fine brew and perhaps a bit of conversation besides, I would be quite willing to provide my services toward both. Should the party in question simply prefer to share a drink in silence, I dare say that such a decision would set with me just as well. My time here has been quite full of adventure and yet rather short on mere companionship.

Most sincerely,
O. S.

I don't know if the china will pass muster but if you're familiar with the Manor and know your way to the kitchenette, I'd be interested in some tea and conversation. My name is Rachel, by the way.

If there is a teapot and a set of cups, I have no complaints. It will be a pleasure to simply sit with someone. I believe that I am familiar enough with the location of the Manor to find my way, though I will be identifiable either way, it seems, by my sense of fashion and what appears to be a terribly persistent limp. Oliver Sumner, at your service.

I understand what you mean! A pleasure to meet you Oliver. I'll wait for you in the kitchenette then?
