The Players: Arthur Pendragon and Lohengrin
What: A Knight and a King discuss time travel.
Where: Starting just outside the entrance to the Manor.
When: After this.
Rating: Low, probably.
Arthur had always been fond of Sir Percival, but the idea of him having a son had rather thrown him. Not that Percival wasn't the kind of man who would eventually want to take a wife and the rest of it, but at the point of time Arthur that had come from the Knights of the Round Table had been... well... something of a boys club. Lots of punching each other and laughing at another's expense, ale and food and yes, showing off. Admittedly, there had been a time when it had been a lot worse - when Arthur had been a lot worse - but still, when he thought of Percival he did not think of a family man.
But still - He was glad, Arthur decided as he hurried down the stairs towards the entrance of the Manor. The man was an excellent Knight and an even better friend, and Arthur was glad to know he did alright by himself.
And he himself was married to Guinevere.
He shook that thought aside as he hit the ground floor and strode towards the main door. It wa cold outside, as fitted the season, and there was a biting wind that lifted the young King's fair hair from his forehead. It didn't seem that Lohengrin had arrived yet, and so Arthur leaned back against one of the cold walls of the building to wait.
