I love it here.

I was set to go start at Yale this year. However, this is more important education for now. History might be my favorite subject but.. I also like science. Curious to see the varied topics, as well as different inventions available for study. Amazing thing, technology. In the right hands, it can change the world. Or worlds. I'm not so naïve as to think Earth is the only living and intelligent planet.

I should introduce myself. Although I should be known already, being youngest owner of my own company, my face on business magazines, and TV interview footage. My name is Damien Thorn. I'm also the President and CEO of a multinational corporation, Thorn Industries. Some might wonder why if I have such a big job, why I'm here. Easy. Hydra is a threat to all. And I think I have skills to help against the fight, maybe some funds can help, and I am also a quick learner for some of the classes taught here.

So this Hydra business. Is their boss a real hydra? We should find it and kill it. I'd heard that cutting a head off isn't a good idea since two more grow back. So maybe taking all the heads? Or hitting it in the heart. Or you could stick the beast in a volcano or the Arctic ocean and let it freeze.

It still feels odd being in another time. So this is the future, interesting. Computers, small phones without wires, and more than four TV channels. My name is Erik Lensherr, just to get the intros out of the way/

This group of terrorists. Hydra. It must be stopped, so we will all have to work together in order to prevail against it. I'd heard some things about it and did a bit of research of my own. Their style is familiar to me. For me, Hydra is just another name for Nazi scum. Now that, I'm quite familiar with. I will enjoy making them regret their life choices.

i am not really one for the whole school scene, but apparently I am a glutton for punishment because something or someone has landed me in an academy surrounded by science,technology and what have you. Can't say for sure I will be handy with a gun because the last time I handled one... Let's just say it didn't end well. But if the chance comes I have to, I guess I better prepare myself. Now that I am here, I guess some exploring is in order. Maybe I will find some people I know and make some new friends along the way. It's no spaceship in the stars but I'll deal. Somehow.

[Bucky read Damien's post and was thinking about HYDRA, which started all the mess he's creating that can be heard. He's got a lot of feelings. Violence is the only way he can figure to get them out.]

[A thump, thud, and sound of glass being shattered later and things go eerily quiet.]

After all the business in England I wanted some peace and quiet. So why have I decided to go to a college? From what I've heard that is hardly peace and quiet. Although I think I shall like this one American tradition I've heard of: Spring Break.

So anyone I know here? Dad?

Okay, this isn't the room of requirement, unless it's developed some kind of magical fault. Where the Hallows am I??
