In this world, cloning is possible, if not common. And through circumstances, there are three versions of the same guy. At least they look the same. The character has met and bedded Clone A and had an incredible time, so considering himself really lucky to run into him again at some public event, not realizing it was Clone B. Clone B has very different tastes in bed. And the next day, when he tried to talk about the unexpected changes down by the continental breakfast, he didn't realize he was talking to Clone C.
