Looking for new lines. This idea is a bit on the unusual side. He's a soldier and during one of his many trips abroad, she receives the news that he got killed. Her heart is broken into a million pieces. They wanted to get married and have kids.
But as she tries to clear out his things from their place, she has the feeling that she is not alone. Almost as if he's still around. Watching her. Then his best friend makes a move on her but she pushes him a way because she's still so full of pain. And she can only about her boyfriend.
I was thinking that he hasn't passed yet but he's in a coma. And during that time he visits her in some kind of ghost form? We can talk about if at some point she will be able to see /hear him or not. Of course it makes him mad seeing his best friend betray him like that but he knows that she really loves him and it gives him the strength to fight for his life.
As he wakes up and recovers and returns to her door months later - it will be awkward. Even more so when he knows about things he's not to know about. Those are the rough outlines. Hoping for someone to play this out!
