This ancient sun god needs some worshiping! Especially looking for a storyline where he is responsible for the bridge between the physical world and the divine realm, and every two years he impregnates a witch-wife he is then reborn from. It's getting closer and closer to his fertility festival honoring the sun, and Belinus needs to choose his new wife. Will he pick from the witches who manage the hotel that has been built around the bridge, or will he find a new witch unrelated to those who watch over him?

Kate has recently discovered that she has powers. Not just any powers, though: she's more powerful than anyone can begin to imagine. It means that even in a world where mutants don't exist - at least not to the public eye - there's more than one group that wants her for themselves.
She's been on the run for a while now, on her own, hiding out wherever she can. When Ben finds her, she's sure she's done for. But Ben is on Kate's side, a long-standing member (in-name-only) of a vigilante group of mutants who just want freedom from persecution for their own kind. Ben doesn't realize when he convinces her to come in with him, that he's going to wind up playing babysitter to her.
Ben's tired. Tired of this work, tired of the conspiracies and bullshit, and even though he's the best at what he does, he can't seem to muster the interest it warrants anymore, which sucks since Kate is still of particular interest to any number of people, and Ben is tasked with training her to protect herself. It wouldn't be such a big deal if Kate wasn't so damn stubborn.
I'd like to find someone to play Ben for this line. I'm picturing an ex-cop, someone older, unshaved and cranky, someone who's tired of life and kind of worn out who just goes through the motions. Until he's saddled with Kate, of course. I'd love a good push-and-pull dynamic to form between them, lots of give and take and snarky bullshit.
