I'm looking for a guy for a het line between a couple of people who are both strong, smart characters. A's family moved her out to the middle of nowhere, some small town in North Dakota where no one lives and nothing ever happens. It's like some horror scene from Fargo or something equally as Coen-esque, but there's nothing she can do about it. She doesn't get along with her stepmom and her dad is doing his best to deal with a teenaged daughter he doesn't know how to handle, but dragging her out to the countryside isn't doing anyone any favours. When B turns up, a day labourer who offers to help on the new farm with her dad, A doesn't think anything of it. But the more she and B are left alone together and the more she helps out on the ranch he owns across the valley, the more she realizes there might be something there.
I'm looking for someone to play B. I'd love someone older, a little rough around the edges and kind of gruff. A dark twist to this would be magnificent, but specifics beyond that are kind of up in the air at the moment!
