She's either a space pirate looking for fellow mercs to band and live with in close quarters, or she's a mongrel, one of the few recently picked up as property by the ascetic and voyeuristic elites*, and her goal is that of escaping the humiliation of slavery or die trying.
Space pirates, mercs, elites and fellow slaves avidly sought for lines.
