I'm maybe eventually looking to join a (modern, city-based) game with Morgan here, but I wanted to find a storyline partner for her first.
What I'm looking for is her half-brother, Arthur Drake.
He's a politician, at least slightly older than she is. His father, Penn Drake, got Morgan's mother pregnant while separated briefly from his wife. When the two reconciled, he abandoned Elsie, even after finding out she was pregnant.
Morgan appeared 30 years later when Penn was running for an open state senate seat. She denounced him, and after a test confirmed her claim, Penn resigned from politics in disgrace. Arthur, an up-and-coming politician himself, embraced the situation as best he could. He offered to help support Morgan as his father had never done, helped her finance an apartment, and even got her a job on his staff.
Arthur's wife, Gwendolyn, isn't too keen on Morgan, but her husband's eagerness to accept Morgan makes her want to give the woman a chance. Unbeknownst to Gwen, though, Morgan has her eye on her half-brother. I'd like to have Arthur start having an affair with Morgan, especially since he probably never really feels like she's his sister, since he hasn't known her his whole life.
Yes, very Arthurian-based, but it wouldn't run entirely parallel to the legends.
And while this would turn into a smutty line, I'd like to build up to that, not just dive in, please.
