 As we've mentioned before, things here at hillies have slowed down a great deal. With no feedback on our last post and with so many characters to be removed tonight we've come to the difficult decision to close the game. However, we're still in talks about a GPSL if enough interest is generated. Or if anyone would like to take the helm on a spin-off game, feel free. The HTML here and taken lists will remain up and intact. As we carry through with this transition, we wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support and dedication. This post is where you as writers (past and present) can comment with your favorite hillies, campus and firstyear moments. Show your fellow roleplayers support, comment on something you never got a chance to remark on. Ultimately, reflect on everything you enjoyed about writing here. Please try to remember to keep it positive as every writer here joined for one main goal: to write and enjoy their characters to the fullest. We hope we've been able to provide everyone with a safe and fun "home" for your characters over these past two and a half years. We wish everyone nothing but the best of luck. unfortunately the time has come for me to leave ~hillies. thank you so much to everyone who has made this an amazing home for the past two and a half years, i've had some of my best rp experiences here. my apologies to everyone i have lines with, but hopefully i'll still be writing cam and jesse in some form or another so you're more than welcome to keep in touch. otherwise, good luck to everyone.

Sorry I meant to get this up earlier, anyone who was going to Cyrus's concert tonight the information can be found here, as well as the program. Cyrus sang VI. Aria: J’ai tout perdu (Azor) as well as he was in varying chorus's and stuff. His entire family was there, so all 5 sisters and his parents so anyone who wants to have their character meet one of them or something they can, let me know which one and I can get you a personality run down if you want! As a general group his family is sassy and sarcastic, all around.

Hey babies. The time has come for me to pull Erica from ~hillies. (obv now, yeah? ) I definitely appreciate all the interaction she's had over the past year and some change. You guys are a great group of writers and I wish everyone the best with their future endeavors and such. Erica will be around campus at least until the end of the year and of course sporadically on facebook. I was really attempting to catch this before the removals and adds were done but IJ has been down for so long (hours), I don't know if it's just on my end. Anyway, I'm pulling Ruben. It's been a cool 20+ months and I've had a lot of experiences here. Thanks to everyone who've had lines with him, it's been real and I appreciate you guys helping me develop him. I will still be playing him so he'll be on his sn, there's always customs, and fb occasionally. If you'd like to keep something going, let me know. hey hillies~ i’m sure this doesn’t come as too much of a shock to a lot of you. i’ve been here for what will be two years in november, and as much as i’d like to believe i can continue...i cannot. you’re all so amazing, and i’ve never felt so apart of something as i have in hillies. i’ll miss you all, and of course if you want to keep up with austin, mia, lara, or even emilie i’ll have them online, or facebook, or even their journals up for whatever you may want from them. their time has come though, as has mine. i shall miss each and everyone of you. thank you so much for everything.

So the sudden realization that I have 3 midterms and two papers in the next week hit me, so I will be on self-enforced hiatus until next Wednesday/Thursday. This will put Cyrus, Adele & Frankie out of commission until this.

I want to give everyone a heads up that I'm dropping Emilie, and figured I should say something before she just shows up on the removal list. :( It's been a wonderful year and a half with her, and I can't believe I'm saying goodbye to her. I'll still be around with the others I have in game, but for her it is time. She'll be around facebook occasionally, and if you want to get ahold of her, her journal will still be up. Thank you ALL so much for helping her grow and form here. I can genuinely say from the bottom of my heart it's because of all of you she was able to stay alive even through her difficult spouts. So thank you, Hillies. <3

this probably won't come as much of a shock to you all now that aislinn-s has said their farewells. but where aislinn goes, even into the abyss of the unknown, shall wyatt follow dutifully and lovingly behind his best friend.
i don't have a ~yaa post ready just yet, but please be on the look out for one within the next few days. for now, i want to bid you all a fond farewell. thank you guys for making wyatt feel at home. thank you for dealing with his clinically insane outbursts and moments of pure love and joy. he will, of course, still be in chapel hill, loving up his girlfriend and his best friend, but probably acting as the hermit that he is. who knows, maybe one day he may be back to torture you all but for now, he needs a long, overdue break. once again, thank you all, you are the best group of writers i've ever had the chance to go against. cheers!

it pains me very much to do this, like unimaginable amounts of physical and mental pain, but it's time for aislinn to go. i love you all dearly and will miss getting to haunt you with the presence of his bangs. he'll still be in chapel hill, still going to unc, living with zack and claudia and whoever else moves into their empty rooms downstairs. i don't have him on facebook or aim often, but he's still reachable there when he is and a dozen other places. anyone with a custom should still find their custom intact here and for anyone who doesn't but still wants to bug him, his spam post and phone post will still be up. i'm gonna screen comments for the time being so if anyone wants to ask for a custom or idk cry with me a little, you're welcome to do so. P.S. I LOVE YOU ALL. |

this may or may not be needed but i want to apologize ahead of time if breck goes MIA for a few days. while i don't think a hiatus will be needed, i just wanted to put the heads up out there that he may be a little scarce.
tropical storm/hurricane isaac is pretty much about to pummel where i live, as it's 4:30 and pretty damn dark outside. i have two ponds and a wooded preserve with a river (that is still more or less trying to recover from when tropical storm debby sat on top of us for days) right by my house so if it gets real bad out here there's a chance i'll have to evacuate so i have no idea if i'll have power or internet access. i'm hoping it's not as bad as they're projecting it to be, but in a span of a few minutes in writing this it's gotten pretty ugly outside.
hopefully i'll be able to see this out without any issues, if not, i'll catch up with y'all in a few days after i'm done chilling with the gators and the water moccasin's :|

i do believe my time and maddie's time has come to an end at ~hillies. it's not fair to pretend i have all the time in world to play her anymore. i apologize to those who i have some threads up. for those who do have lines with her, she'll still be in chapel hill, living with ~guzman and getting ready to graduate. she might be around on fb here and there, but honestly, if you want to keep in contact with her, customs would be best.
this wasn't an easy decision since i love this place and love playing maddie. i wish you all the best and i'm sad to go. <33

after four years of playing blaine, this isn't coming easy at all. i think his character's finally hit a point where i would be disappointed with carrying him on any further. at least at this point in his 'life.' i'll miss playing him here and with those he grew to adore and interact. it's been fun, guys!

For those who are going to Frankie's firefighting graduation today just a couple things.
1. It was held from 4pm-6pmish, and I've never been to one so I'm basising this a little bit of off a combo of high school/college graduation where there's speakers, and then people walk across the stage etc. Frankie was one of the stop students in the class, so I don't know if they do honors but if they do, he's getting one. If I'm wrong please let me know.
2. They are all in uniforms like this, and that is the general mark up of his class, lots of dudes and only a few girls. I think i said once it was a class of 29.
3. It will be filled to the brim with Frankie's family, I'm not even lying. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, etc. His family is huge and close and they'll all be there.
4. The graduation party is tomorrow, so most likely people will clear out, especially since Eugene is surprising Frankie so his focus, sorry guys, will pretty much switch to Eugene.
Also, do people want a thread for the graduation party tomorrow or just a brief outline like this one?
