Emma was still reeling from the mortification of being high and being a man. It was awful and she hadn't even been able to look at herself in the mirror all day. She could not even begin to express her relief when she'd turned back into herself and the drugs had worn off. Crossing her legs under her desk, she sighed and read through the papers. Really. She should just give up and not bother. There was no sense in public relations work when a gossip rag was running her name through it. Of course, she was a nobody and that's exactly how she'd like to remain. It seemed, lately, that everyone was interested in her life and that was just strange. Zach was convinced she had to get out and have more fun but she enjoyed being at home. It was quiet. There were no crowds and men didn't talk to her. It was relaxing and she didn't have that awful ache in her shoulders. The past couple of days had left her riddled with tension and the knots and kinks in her back and neck kept her from turning to suddently and sititing even more stiff then normal.
Rolling her shoulders, attempting to work the kink out, she listed off ideas for the Presents with Santa idea she'd come up with. Dressing Adrian up as Santa was probably not going to work. He was entirely too... male. Of course, he'd agreed to do it and she didn't think she'd be able to get anyone else to agree. For some reason, even if he seemed rather irritable, he had the tendency to listen and that was rather nice. Glancing at her clock, she caught sight of him coming in. "Hello M- Adrian," she said, rising, extending her hand. He was very good looking, she supposed. It wasn't a wonder why the women flocked around him. Still, she didn't understand the need to have attention on oneself constantly.
"How are you today?" she asked, sitting back down, somewhat more stiffly then normal.
