Emmett has picked himself off the couch and is ready to get back to his life when Ted shows up with an apology. Again. He asks Emmett to come back home, but Em doesn't think it's a good idea. Yeah, I'm with Emmett on this one.
Ted tries to convince him by kissing him, which Melanie interrupts (thanks Mel).
"I'll stop using Em, I promise."
"You promised before."
"I mean it this time."
"You meant it before!" He's finallyfinallyfinally understanding that Ted is truly an addict and what that really means.
"Because I don't believe you. I don't even think you believe yourself."
"So you don't trust me?" Really Ted? You're really going to jump on him for not trusting you??
"Well, have you given me any reason to? You're an addict!"
"I'm not an addict!"
"I'm sorry sweetie, but it's true. That's what you are. And if that's what you want to be, then fine. I can't stop you. But I sure as hell am not going to join you!" Good for him!!
Ted gets angry, blames the girls for turning Em against him, and storms out when Emmett suggests he get some help. *sigh* Oh Teddy. :(
