Teh Lovathon - Episode 309
Hello everyone! Are we all ready for episode 309 and (arguably) the best episode opening of the season so far?? We'll start in about ten minutes. :)

Okay, pushing play...

What a beautiful scene to open with, yes?! Turns me into a gooey melted blob at my computer ;)

I LOVE watching them here!!!!! They are so into each other and so clearly in love, touching, smiling, and kissing. It's a gorgeous thing to watch...over and over and over.

On the stairs
[info]britin1729
2012-06-26 03:20 am UTC (link)
Michael's not too happy though. Is it jealousy? Concern for Brian? Continued anger at Justin? I feel like it's a mixture of concern for Brian and also a fear that he will lose his best friend now. After the breakup, Brian needed him again, and he doesn't anymore. At least not the same way.

"Yes, you are seeing it. The most historic reunification since Germany." :D

"What happened to the fiddler."
"He fell off the roof." Hee!!

I adore how B/J are just off by themselves, enjoying each other. They do that a few times in this ep.

Emmett wants to dance, but Ted's back is still fucked, so he borrows Ben. "You take the fun out of everything!" LOL. Emmett cracks me up.

Michael warns Ted to go easy on the booze and pills, to which Ted replies that he doesn't have to get up for anything in the morning. :( Oh Ted. You are going to upset me so much in every episode basically from here on out this season.

Then we see Brian and Justin passing by on their way to the backroom, hand in hand. :D

Justin suggests that they go back to Brian's place, since there are undercover cops everywhere. Brian finds the threat of arrest hot, and playfully drags Justin into the backroom. :) Can I just say that I love this new, playful, happily-in-love B/J? We haven't had that since the middle of season two, and it's a beautiful thing to watch.

My only complaint is that we did not get to follow them into the backroom, lol.

Stockwell and Brian
[info]britin1729
2012-06-26 03:23 am UTC (link)
Brian is still working his evil dark magic for Stockwell. I really hate that shirt on him, lol.

"I got one." Lol—you know it's got to be killing Brian not to make a joke out of it when Stockwell says these things.

Stockwell invites Brian to soak in the hot tub with him. Brian replies that he doesn't usually travel with a swim suit (only a condom and lube). But since they're just a couple of guys, who cares, right? ;)

Ted is at the Big Q for an interview. Hey, it's Tracy! I miss seeing her on the show. And she's a manager now :D

Stockwell and Brian in the hot tub
[info]britin1729
2012-06-29 03:06 am UTC (link)
First, can I just say ewww? Those two should not have their naked bodies anywhere near each other. Couldn't we have had a B/J hot tub scene instead?

"Takes some getting used to but once you're inside...feels damn good." ROFL. Oh Jim. You make me laugh. And you just know Brian is practically having to bite his tongue to pass up a joke like that. He's made bad puns with much less.

"I like you, Kinney." Why does it sound like Stockwell is coming onto Brian?? lol!

"That's why I'm going to tell you something I never told another living soul. Except my wife...I'm scared."

"Of losing?"
"Of winning."

"I can always pull it off."

Carl and Debbie
[info]britin1729
2012-06-29 03:08 am UTC (link)
Aw, Deb and Carl are so cute :)

"No shame in earning and honest day's pay for an honest day's work." He keeps saying that, but it sounds like he barely believes it.

Kiki the waitress—formerly Kenny the waiter—is going to be hosting the fund raiser for the suicide prevention hotline. Apparently she's so funny she's going to bust Ted and Em's guts. Deb probably didn't mean that literally, but poor Kiki ate the pink plate special and is now having all kinds of gut-busting issues herself.

Oh noes! Debbie fed Carl the same thing, and runs in slo-mo to save him from the gut busting meal!! What a hero!! LOL!

"I'll have the tuna salad—salmonella on the side." Hee!!

"They all model themselves after you!" Lol!!!

"That's exactly what I love about my girl. Bigger than life and a mouth to match. I wouldn't want her any other way." You should keep that in mind later, Carl.

[info]britin1729

Hmm am I the only one who would totally buy that comic if I ran across a cover like that?? ;)

I love their banter here.

"We should be so lucky. Think of the free publicity!"
"Working for Brian's rubbed off on you in more ways than one." Lol!!

"JT giving Rage a blow job isn't just about sex. It's about thawing his cold heart. It's about bringing him back to life. It's about their love—their unspoken commitment." Hmm sounds familiar...
"Art imitating life?" :)

"You were right. Brian showed me he loved me. Every day. Even though he never said it. Even though he never will." Well, idk about that.... ;)

Justin is sooo cute!!

Mel and Lindsay
[info]britin1729
2012-06-29 03:13 am UTC (link)
I really like seeing this glimpse into their normal, every day lives. Just them making dinner and talking (well, ranting, but whatevs) about work.

Then Mel says that she has to win this case. Lindsay reminds her of her agreement to work less. Mel is still sure she can do it all.

Woody's
[info]britin1729
2012-06-29 03:19 am UTC (link)
The boys (and Deb-as the honorary gay man of the group) are at Woody's for the fundraiser. Or more likely, they're there to see hot guys take their clothes off, but it's for a good cause. ;)

Again, Brian and Justin are off sitting by themselves, just being unbelievably cute together. Unfortunately, Brian's vest is not so cute. It's actually pretty awful, lol.

Brian offers one of the strippers an extra $100 to show his cock—on stage.

"You're evil."
"I'm sweet." And that kiss—SO adorable!!!!!

Um, what's crawled up Michael's ass?? Oh, right—they're busy kissing and being cute over at the bar, lol.

"And how does Michael- I mean Zephyr- feel about that?" Ben is so onto him. ;)

Ted and Em show up, and Ted wants to know if Michael's heard from Tracey. Michael tells him that he didn't get the job :( :( Poor Teddy.

On stage, the stripper is finishing up and Debbie is clearly enjoying herself, lol. Next up is the guy Brian bribed. He pulls out his cock, making Brian and Justin crack up and getting the whole event shut down.

As they leave, the cop recognizes Brian.... oh noes!!!

The diner
[info]britin1729
2012-06-29 03:26 am UTC (link)
Debbie is pissed about being kicked out of Woody's and is organizing a loud, angry rally to head down to police headquarters.

Brian comes in and wants to know what's up with the loud, angry, sign-carrying people.

"Brian's always behind the asshole." LOL!!

Brian kind of makes me laugh here (his prayer group? *snort*) but he also needs to hear all this.

Brian and Michael
[info]britin1729
2012-06-29 03:31 am UTC (link)
Though he defended Brian to Debbie, Michael lets Brian know that what he's doing sucks. Brian's still stuck on getting to NY and leaving his old life behind.

"Fine, go. And take Justin with you." Hmm, so this is what Michael's really pissed about. But notice, Brian never once said he wouldn't be taking Justin with him. ;)

Even though he didn't have to be and could have easily (and maybe with some justification) told Michael to fuck off about Justin, Brian's actually kind of sweet here and gives him the assurances he's been wanting, saying that he will always love him. "Wherever I go and whoever I'm with, I'll always love you." What I get from this is Brian basically saying, I'll never be with you or love you the same way I love Justin (really, who else would he be referencing?), but I'll always love you as my best friend. I think Michael's been feeling insecure about his place in Brian's life and needing to hear this the entire episode. As long as he's being decent to Justin, I can deal with that. ;)

Mel is trying to smooth things over with Lindsay, but it turns into a fight. I really wish they wouldn't fight in front of Gus. :(

"You're not much of an example." Ouch. :(

I think Lindsay's being unfair here. I understand her thing about gay parents being better than straight parents, because they will often be judged more harshly, but I still disagree with her and think that's a pretty unfair expectation she's placing on her and Mel.
