I have only received two anonymous icons for the current booty theme. I cannot put up voting with only two icons therefore I'm skipping it.

I'm also no longer going to be posting monthly themes since there has been little participation over the last several months.

In the near future I'm going to be starting up a QAF icontest over at iconics. Please come and join that asylum if you want to participate in making icons or voting for winners. I want this new contest to be successful but that's only possible with all of you!

Thanks to not_yet_defined, we have a new layout here on qaf_icons. I wanted both qaf icon communities on InsaneJournal and LiveJournal to have the same style, and she made it happen. If you haven't already, you should check it out. It displays all the community tags in a neat list, making it more user friendly (I hope), and allowing you to quickly find what you're looking for, and the rules are more accessible. Please continue using tags on your entries (please try to follow the existing system) and respecting the rules. I'm sure your good behavior will be rewarded.

I'm almost done tagging all entries on qaficons, and you're strongly encouraged to check it out - I'm sure there are entries from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and so forth... that you haven't seen yet. I thought I had seen most of the icons in the fandom (pretentious, I know!), but there are some very nice surprises out there. You can also keep track of what's going on over there on your IJ flist by friending the feed from LiveJournal (qaficons_lj) like you normally would friend any journal or asylum.

If you have any questions, suggestions or complaints, feel free to voice them here. I may be the maintainer of this asylum, but it belongs to every member and watcher.

Hey you icon makers! Don't forget about the current theme that's running right now. I don't know that anyone has posted any icons for it yet. We have two more weeks left for the theme so try to make some time in your schedule for some graphics.

I haven't had a chance to think about the next theme yet or find a screen cap to use for the anonymous icon, so I'll be posting theme #28 this coming weekend. I expect to let that theme run through the end of the year since I know everyone gets really busy during the holidays. That should give the icon makers about 5 weeks to submit their icons. If anyone still has leather icons to post feel free to do so.

And don't forget to go over here to vote for the anonymous icons for the current theme.

Just a quick reminder that the current leather theme ends this weekend which means I'd like to post the anonymous icons for voting at that time. Here's the thing though....I have exactly ONE anonymous icon that's been submitted to me. Not really much to vote on wouldn't you agree? Soooooo.....unless I get some more submissions there will be no voting. :(

I know how much everyone likes looking at the pretty tiny pictures and I know everyone likes clicking the little ticky boxes so come on icon makers get to work!

Sorry for taking so long to put this post together. I got all wrapped up in my relaxing vacation week and this slipped my mind!

I haven't forgotten about posting the new weekly theme, honestly. I've been contemplating making some changes to the structure of our themes but I don't have all of my thoughts in order yet. Expect to see a poll some time this week so make sure you stop by and vote!
