Title: A Sure Bet Author: dean1955 Prompt: Loser Notes: Kinnetick_Sun Member
Master bedroom door slams...
“Yikes Dad, what is wrong with Justin?”
“Well Gus, I bet you did not know that Justin is a sore loser. He hates to lose at board games, card games, paper-rock-scissors, or whether Ted will wear a beige shirt or a really beige shirt.”
“What was it today?”
“I bet Justin that I could do more sit-ups than him. Which I did.”
“What did you win?”
“Gus, I know you are 12 years old now, but you are going to have to wait until you are 18 to hear about my prize.”
“Gross Dad!” |
