Prompt:
Mothers
“Really?! You got an A+ for your literature essay?! That’s awesome!!” Debbie shrieked on top of her lungs before she grabbed him into one of her infamous and breathtaking bear hugs right in front of the whole crowd of customers at the diner. “Honey, I’m so proud of you!!”
And while Debbie’s overly dramatic reaction was sort of embarrassing for him, Brian also couldn’t help but compare her obvious joy with his own mother’s indifferent reaction a couple of hours earlier.
Joanie had only told him not to forget to take the trash out on his way to soccer practice.

Title: Anniversary Author: jule1122 Condom: Wedding Icon
They sign the papers to sell the house five years to the day from the “Wedding that Wasn’t.” Brian catches Justin laughing as he writes the date.
They’d never gone back after that one perfect, unreal, unfucking believably romantic night. Brian knows that’s best; he learned all about tempting fate with ridiculously romantic gestures.
Britin, the name still makes him wince, was everything he wanted to give Justin in that moment, but they don’t need stables and tennis courts anymore than they need rings.
Brian hurries the notary along; there’s a realtor with a list of penthouses waiting for them. |
