“What, the fuck, are you doing?”
Justin freezes for a nanosecond — remembers to relax, to give a nonchalant reply, “Enjoying my drink. What, the fuck, are you doing?”
He’s pleased with himself, knows Brian Kinney likes keeping things cool.
“Watching you behave incredibly stupid.”
“What?” Justin sputters, surprised, confused — not cool. Attempting composure, he reaches for the beer he set on the counter behind him, but Brian beats him to it and pushes the bottle out of reach.
“Never…” Brian says, directing his glare at the over-the-hill loser sitting next to Justin, “…leave your drink unattended.”
“Why?”
“Figure it out.” |
