And the Condom Goes To: Futon Sex
He left his duffel bag behind when he went to New York.
I bought him Prada’s red leather luggage instead.
I had the matching set in blue.
He left his duffel bag on the top shelf of my closet.
I guess it was supposed to prove that this time things were different.
The first time I went to visit him in the city, I brought it with me and tossed it at his feet.
He smiled. “Is it still full of my fucking underwear?”
I opened it wordlessly. He immediately spied the ring box.
