Title: When you’re ready.
Author Notes: The song is ‘Dreamer’ by Uh Huh Her, the lyrics are perfect Brian and Justin. So saying that, the beginning italics of the song are supposed to represent past dialogue between Brian and Justin. (Justin first, then Brian.) I also tag this with an angst-o-rama tag.
And the Condom goes to: Daphne.

Careful what you wish for.
The tears came unbidden as Justin slid into the back of the taxi. A few murmured words and the car pulled away from the curb.
No Ethan, no cancer, no all consuming force pushing Justin away from Brian. Just a simple fact; Brian wouldn’t change. A fact everyone had told him from the beginning, one he had ignored freely because he thought he knew Brian better than that.
