Title: Gesture Author: jule1122 Condom: Brian
For all his skill with words, there were some things Brian never learned how to say. “I’m sorry” being one of the most important. Apologies were too direct for a man who made his living off double meanings and innuendo. No matter how much blame he privately took on, the actual words left him too vulnerable and open to rejection.
But if he was going to marry Justin, and he was, Brian needed a best man. It wasn’t the apology Michael wanted and, secretly Brian admitted might, deserve. Brian couldn’t give him those words, but he could give him this. |

Title: Sure About It Notes: No beta...I hope it seems "best-friendy" enough. And the condom goes to: Brian Kinney
A silence fell as Daphne and Justin finished a plate of cheese fries at the diner. Daphne’s lower lip trembled and Justin chuckled.
“Daph. Stop it. You’re the biggest drama queen I know. And I know Emmett.”
“It’s not funny. I can’t believe you’re leaving Brian. And me.”
“You didn’t do this when I went to LA.”
“That time I knew you’d be back.”
“Why do you think I won’t this time?”
“Because you and Brian are really together. You don’t have to be here to be sure of that.”
Justin smiled, “And that’s exactly why I will be back.” |

Title: Untitled Notes: This was originally written for vl_redreign as a belated birthday present. She wanted an Emmett/Justin friendship drabble. Bunny said it fits the challenge here too, so I'm posting it. No beta, all mistakes are mine. And the condom goes to: Brian Kinney.
Emmett left Godiva’s room with her dress draped over his arm, carrying a huge hatbox filled with accessories. His heart was heavy.
Walking out the hospice door, he almost stumbled into Justin, sitting on the front steps, knees pulled up and arms wrapped around them. His head was buried in his arms.
Emmett dropped the hatbox and knelt down to Justin.
“Justin? Baby, what’s wrong? What happened?”
Justin was shaking. He looked up, tears filling his eyes.
Emmett couldn’t imagine what could have happened, but he pulled Justin close and whispered, “It’ll be OK. Let’s get you back to Brian.” |
