Hi everyone!
This is my first time ever on IJ and I'm not a native speaker, so I'm kind of nervous... But I'd be grateful for any and all help, please excuse me if I fail to really say what I want :P
Anyway, I've seen QAF once in a marathon of two weeks. Now, I'm rewatching bits and pieces, but I have trouble understanding Brian in S2. I simply have a hard time comprehending why he is so cold towards Justin nearing the end, or rather: I have a hard time understanding him at all because at times he seems so eager to make Justin happy (planning the trip to Vermont, White Party, Rage marketing and party, etc) but at other times he seems to completely reject opportunities of making him happy when Justin's offering it to him on a plate, such as the picnic on the floor.
Now, I've read discussions that it's still because of the bashing and that he can't get past it. Not having the episodes here to watch them now, I think that perhaps it started going downhill from when Justin kissed that guy at Daphne's party, but I'm not sure. (I'm on holiday, no DVD access :()
In any case, I'm having a hard time even saying what I think of the whole mess that is Brian Kinney in S2, add to that the language barrier and voilà... You have a fan in serious need of some help in Brian-ology!
That said, I'm still digging through old posts and seriously loving this whole IJ thing. So little negativity! You're great, everyone. |
