I spent the weekend reading overly long and angsty qaf fic... and crying my heart out.
I am always amazed that fan fic can reduce me to tears. I'm usually the schmoopy, happy ending kind of gal.
But there is something cathartic about having a good cry. It's not what I usually equate/relate to the qaf fic I read, but boy, when it hits you like that, there's really nothing you can do except hug the box of kleenex and read on hoping for something better to happen.
Of course, this could just mean that I'm starting menopause or I'm pregnant.
Nay, it's just truly amazing fic... anyone need the tissue box? |

I know I have been a lousy host for the Reading Club fic "Forever Changes Everything". Between IJ being down and RL taking a major bite out of my life I have not responded to any of the wonderful comments on this fic. If you have not commented, please come on over. I will do my best to catch up on all the comments.
Again, I am sorry for being absent during the discussions. Mea culpa. |
