I thought it would be fun (and many of you agreed with me) to have some discussions about our favorite fanfics. testdog65 will be my partner in crime for this endeavor.
how it will work
-discussions will be moderated
-discussions will take place here, at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) qaf_coffeeclub
-flaming will NOT be tolerated
-discussions should revolve around characterizations, themes, etc, or simple squeefests
-no one has to like everything, but this is NOT a chance to beat up fic
-talking about how you didn't like something in a fic is fine, but NO FLAMING and NO concrit (if you feel that strongly about a fic, email the author)*
-this Club will NOT include discussions on bad!fic or crack!fic (that's what qaf_crackfic is for)
-if you want to lead a discussion, sign up in this post (comments are screened) with 2 fics (please include links)
-after sign ups close, I'll create a MASTER SCHEDULE listing the fic and the discussion leader
-if you're an author and you'd like me to exclude your fic from the Club, please comment in this post (comments are screened, testdog65 and I will be the only people to know)
Sign up INFO
-list your 2 fics with links
-give a general idea of the discussion you'd like to lead (yes, they'll veer off and that's fine but you're responsible for enforcing the NO FLAMING rule)
-your email addy
-sign ups will remain open for 2 weeks (until January 20, 2008)

*I'll be monitoring these discussions (even the ones I don't participate in) and you all know, it doesn't matter who you are, if you're misbehavin', I'll delete your comment. |
