62. Drabble: There's No Place Like Home
Title: There’s No Place Like Home
Author: [info]itwaslovetome
Theme: Dwellings/Home
Notes: [info]grayskyblue betaed for me.

My apartment has no air conditioning, so I hate being home, sometimes even when I’m painting. The sounds that pour in from the open windows remind me that outside, everyone is together, moving, going somewhere. While in here, it is muggy and lonely.

That all changes when Brian’s here, in my bed. The noises pour out of both of us and, I imagine, out my apartment windows to the streets below. I can’t help but feel sorry for all of those unfortunate people out there, hurrying, with places to be. I’m inside and not going anywhere. Sweaty, sticky, and satisfied.

I adore that Justin is envious of all those busy people until Brian is there, cause then he knows they should envy him! Love this!
