Emmett is not someone Ted ever imagined would be his best friend. In high school, Ted desperately wanted to be a jock, but nature had predetermined his place among the dorks. Ted was stuck with his Mathlete friends who were mostly interested in his skills as a human calculator. Emmett had no use for Ted’s mathematical prowess. They met the day Ted absently wandered into Torso as he followed on the heels of some twink. Later that same day, Ted walked out of Torso minus one twink, but plus two bags of garishly colored clothes and a friend to match.

	I can just imagine Ted's expression the first time he saw Emmett! Because you know Emmett caught Ted looking at that twink. Em probably saw Ted and thought "project!" a la Cher in Clueless. (Reply to this) (Parent)
